Stanton Architects is an architecture & interior design practice based in Sydney.
A multidisciplinary practice led and founded by principal architects Laura & Wally Stanton, Stanton Architects works across a range of disciplines from architecture and interior design to furniture, lighting and object design, specialising in timeless luxury across residential and commercial projects.

Along with their experienced team, Laura and Wally believe working in a collaborative manner, along with their clients, achieves the most functional and practical outcome for each project, creating perfect harmony with site and context.

With their international and local experience, Stanton Architects' approach and philosophy is established by making simple statements and creating timeless buildings and spaces.

More recently, Stanton Architects have extended their brand to include overseas furniture sourcing, importing a curated selection of European furniture, lighting, art and accessories—further enriching their design offering with unique and considered pieces.
OUR PRINCIPALS
LAURA STANTON
Laura is the founder and Creative Director of Stanton Architects and is involved in every project, contributing at all stages from design to final delivery, and holds experience in high-end residential and commercial projects, with a detail focused nature.

Laura holds a Master of Architecture (2013) and a Bachelor of Design in Architecture (2011) from the University of Technology, Sydney, while also being invited to join the Golden Key International Honour Society.
​
Prior to commencing her Masters in Architecture, Laura extended her learning experience overseas, studying at the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan, Italy in 2006, and was selected to take part in the UTS travelling studio to Gehry Partners in Los Angeles, USA. Laura was also a runner up in the Vogue Living X Coco Republic Scholarship in 2016.

Laura is registered as an architect in NSW (Reg. No. 10647) and is a member of the Australian Institute of Architects.

WALLY STANTON
Wally Stanton is the project leader of Stanton Architects in the sector that specialises in multi residential dwellings, residential flat buildings and commercial developments.
​
Wally executes the completion of multiple projects across New South Wales, from as early as Schematic design through to Completion.
A perfectionist at heart, Wally is dedicated to all facets of the project, whether its early client instigation and brief management, project cost control, consultant management and contracts administrator.
​
Wally graduated from University of Technology, Sydney in 2014 with a Masters in Architecture, where he was named on the Deans honour list, aswell as being nominated for the AIA NSW design medal.
​
Beyond his love for Architecture, Wally has many interests which he is passionate about, including travelling, sports, collecting antiques, accumulating vinyl records and consuming quality whiskey and coffee.
​
Wally is registered as an architect in NSW (Reg. No. 12171) and is a member of the Australian Institute of Architects.
